Meet the team
Our skilled teachers offer you the opportunity to move through and explore the Pilates exercises from a perspective you might not have experienced before. This allows for options and choices within your body that can be carried over into daily life and other exercise techniques.
The Body Workshop Pilates teachers have been trained, influenced, and learned from many of the leading movement schools, including Polestar Pilates and The Franklin Method.
Becky
Founder of AlignWell
After training with the internationally respected Polestar Pilates, Becky taught in London and Dubai, and ran a thriving studio in the Cotswolds for over a decade. In her mid-thirties, she experienced burnout — and the physical and mental toll it took changed her understanding of the mind-body connection forever. Now based in Bristol with her husband and two children, she’s proud to offer a space where movement is more than functional — it’s transformative.
Becky is a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor with over 20 years’ experience of teaching Reformer Pilates and a lifelong love of movement and learning.

Charlotte
AlignWell Teacher
Charlotte is a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience. When she isn’t teaching in Bristol, she’s often leading movement retreats in Devon and Italy, or travelling as a host with Gutsy Girls adventure holidays.
Her love of movement began as a young dancer and evolved into a deeper understanding of the body through injury and recovery. Pilates — and later the Franklin Method — opened up a new world of mindful movement and body awareness.
Charlotte’s teaching is thoughtful, creative and rooted in the belief that every body holds amazing potential.

Now she shares that knowledge and experience with others, from people navigating health challenges to professional athletes, always to help them move better, feel stronger, and feel confident in their bodies.
Pilates has been life-changing for Rachel, taking her from facing lifelong disability to running 10km races and even Olympic weightlifting. She combines scientific knowledge with lived experience to create personalised, effective programs that meet you exactly where you are.
